Ears (make x2)

(Pink yarn or Cream yarn)
Ch 13. Start in 3rd ch from hook:
1 tr, 4 dc, 3 hdc, 2 sc, slst.

(Grey yarn)
Take the gray yarn and the shaping wire for the rabbit ears.
Work into the other side of the foundation chain.
Place the wire along the edge and crochet over it to hide it inside.
Work a round of single crochets (sc) all the way around the ear, incorporating the wire as you go.
At the end, work a slip stitch (sl st) into the first stitch to join.
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing onto the head.
Repeat the above steps to make the second ear.

Assembly Instructions
Insert the excess wire from the ears into the main body/head to secure them firmly.
Sew the ears onto both sides of the top of the head.
Cut off the extra wire or carefully tuck it inside the head.

Star Decor
Yellow yarn.
MR, (ch 2, slst into 2nd ch from hook, slst into MR) x 5.
Pull tight to form a star.

Waistband
Black yarn.
Step 1: Make a foundation chain (ch) long enough to fit around the bunny's waist.
Step 2: Work back along the chain: slip stitch (slst) into each stitch for a thin belt, or single crochet (sc) for a thicker belt.
Step 3: Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the two ends together on the bunny's body.
Step 4:  Thread a needle with yellow yarn.
Identify the center of the belly. Embroider a small rectangle over the black belt. Simply stitch up and down to form the four sides of the rectangle surrounding the belt, and you're done.
To prevent the belt from slipping or shifting during use, use a hot glue gun or a few hidden stitches to secure the black strap to the bunny's body.

Assemble
Stuff the head and body firmly.
Sew the head to the body.
Attach the ears to the head (insert wire into the head first).
Embroider the waistband and mouth using black thread.
Apply a little blush to the cheeks.
Sew the star onto the uniform.

Congratulations, your creation is all finished!
