Assembly Instructions
Head and Body
Stuff both the head and body firmly with fiberfill before closing.
Sew the head onto the body at the opening of R11. Ensure the "cheeks" (the increases in R7) are aligned with the front of the body.
Ears
Flatten the ears and sew them to the top of the head, approximately between R2 and R3.
Position them slightly angled outward or upright, as shown in the reference photo.
Limbs and Tail:
Hands
Sew the hands to the sides of the body at the level of the color change in R11.
Legs
Sew the legs to the bottom of the body at R2-R3, ensuring the bunny can sit or stand balanced.
Tail: Attach the tail to the lower back of the body for stability.
Police Hat and Accessories:
Place the hat on top of the head between the ears.
Sew the Small Star to the front center of the hat.
Attach the Shoulder Strap diagonally across the chest and the Vest Patch on the front of the uniform.
Facial Embroidery Tips
To recreate the expression from the image:
Eyes:
Use black safety eyes or beads.
Place them between R7 and R8 (the transition between grey and white), spaced about 4–5 stitches apart.
Nose and Mouth:
Use pink embroidery thread to create a small "Y" shape or a tiny horizontal stitch for the nose right between the eyes.
Use thin black or dark brown thread to stitch a small "w" shape directly below the nose to create a smiling mouth.
Cheeks:
To get the "blush" effect seen in the photo, you can use a small amount of real pink cosmetic blush or a pink fabric marker on the white part of the cheeks.
Paws:
Use pink thread to embroider three small vertical lines on the bottom of the grey feet to represent paw pads.
3. Stuffing Tips
Head and Body: These parts must be stuffed firmly before closing the hole or sewing them together to maintain the doll's shape and upright posture.
Legs: Stuff the feet moderately to create a plump look; however, use less stuffing in the ankles so they don't become too stiff.
Ears: Do not stuff the ears. After finishing the crochet rounds, simply flatten them to keep them soft and flexible, as shown in the sample.
4. Pro-Tips
Hiding Yarn Ends: When finishing a part, use a yarn needle to poke the excess tail back through the stuffed area. Pull slightly before cutting the yarn close to the surface so the end disappears completely inside.
Black Belt: At rounds R5–R6 of the body, instead of just a surface slip stitch, leave a long tail of black yarn at both the beginning and end. Tie a knot and hide it inside the body before you finish stuffing.
