To crochet this amigurumi Little Deer Rudolph you need:
- Yarn: any suitable colors — dark brown, brown, white, red, green, off-white
- Hook: match hook size to your yarn
- Safety eyes: 5 mm (adjust size depending on yarn)
- Stuffing, tapestry needle
Your finished amigurumi Little Deer Rudolph will be about 15 cm (5.9") tall if you use the suggested yarn and hook. Feel free to try other yarn weights too — just keep in mind the size of your pup may turn out a little bigger or smaller.

sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
sl st = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

Crochet in continuous rounds, unless otherwise specified. Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker or a yarn scrap.

Nose (Red yarn)
Make 5 ch, crochet around both sides of the chain
R1: 3 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc (10)
R2: inc, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc, inc (16)
R3: 16 sc
Stuff lightly.
Sew the nose between Rounds 15–18 of the head.

Ears × 2
Inner Ear (off-white)
R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (sc, inc) × 6 (18)

Outer Ear (brown)
R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
R2: 6 inc (12)

Place inner + outer ear together and crochet around through both layers.
Fold the bottom slightly and secure; leave a long tail for sewing.

Big Antlers × 2 (dark brown)
R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Sew the big antlers to the head between Rounds 5–8.
You may add decorations (small bells, beads).

Attach safety eyes between Rounds 14–15, spacing 6 stitches apart.
Use black thread to embroider eyebrows.

R3: 9 sc
R4: Switch to red yarn, BLO, 9 sc
R5: 9 sc
R6: White yarn 8 sc, green yarn 9 sc (9)
R7: (white yarn) 4 sc, (green yarn) 4 sc, 1 sc (9)
R8: Green yarn 6 sc, white yarn 9 sc
R9: White yarn 6 sc, red yarn 8 sc, continue red 10 sc (10)
With red yarn, slip stitch around Round 4 FLO once.
Stuff lightly.
Sew muzzle pieces to Round 22 of the body.

Left leg
R1: Dark brown yarn – 6 sc in magic ring (6)
R2: (sc, inc) × 3 (9)
R3: (2 sc, inc) × 3 (12)
R4: BLO, 12 sc
R5: (2 sc, dec) × 3 (9) – Switch yarn color
R6: 9 sc, fasten off

Right leg
Repeat Rounds 1–6 of the left leg but do NOT fasten off.
After R6, chain 6, then continue crocheting to join the right leg to the body.

Body
R7: Work around both legs to form body:
9 sc (around right leg),
6 sc (across the chain),
9 sc (around left leg),
6 sc (across the chain) → 30 stitches

R9: sc, inc, 24 sc, (inc, sc) × 5 (42)
R10: 42 sc
R11: (3 sc, dec, 3 sc) × 6 (48)
R12 (Red yarn): BLO, 48 sc
R13: (7 sc, inc) × 6 (54)
R14–16: 54 sc
R17: (7 sc, dec) × 6 (48)

At R12 FLO, use red yarn to slip stitch one round for decoration.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the head to the body.

Assembly
- Sew the antlers onto the top of the head.
- Sew the ears beside the antlers.
- Sew the muzzles onto the body at Round 22.
- You may tie a small bell on the scarf or neck area as decoration.
