Abbreviations:
MR: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st: stitch
sc: single crochet
inc: increase (2 sc in one st)
dec: decrease (2 sc together)
sl st: slip stitch
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
dc-inc: 2 double crochet in the same stitch
dc3inc: 3 double crochet in the same stitch
dc-dec: Double crochet decrease
sc3inc: 3 single crochet in the same stitch
BLO: Back Loop Only
FLO: Front Loop Only
hdc: Half Double Crochet
hdc-inc: 2 half double crochet in the same stitch
(..) = repeat the instructions in brackets the given number of times
[ ] = total number of stitches in a round/row
Crochet in continuous rounds, unless otherwise specified. Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker or a yarn scrap.

Main Body
Use double strands of yarn. Every round ends with a slip stitch into the first stitch. From R1 to R4, start each round with 2 chains (does not count as a stitch).
R1:  MR, 10 dc into the ring.   [10]
R2:  10 inc-dc.   [20]
R3:  (1 dc, 1 inc-dc) x 10.   [30]
R4:  (1 dc, 1 inc-dc, 1 dc) x 10.   [40]
R5:  Ch 1, work one round of Rsc (Reverse Single Crochet) to the right. Fasten off.

Head
Every round ends with a slip stitch. Start each round with Ch 1 (standing stitch).
R1:  MR, 6 sc.    [6]
R2:  6 inc.    [12]
R3:  (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6.    [18]
R4:  (2 sc, 1 inc) x 6.     [24]
R5:  (3 sc, 1 inc) x 6.    [30]
R6:  (2 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc) x 6.     [36]
R7-9:  36 sc.     [36]
R10: Fold the piece in half: 3sc, skip 13, 5sc, skip 13, 2 sc
R11:  1 dec, 3 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc. Sl st, Ch 1.
R12:  (1 dec, 2 sc) x 2.
R13:  3 dec. Sl st, cut yarn and finish.

Eyes (Make 2)
R1:  MR: 6sc      [6] 
R2:  6inc     [12]
R3:  12 sc  [12]
Change color at the last stitch.
R4:  12 sc     [12]
R5:  12 sc in BLO      [12]
R6:  12 sc      [12]
R7:  6 dec in FLO only to close.
Note: Crochet a round of sc on the Front Loops of Round 5 to create the eye rim.

Ear (Make 2)
MR, Ch 2. In the ring: 1 Hdc, 1 Dc, Ch 2, Sl st into the Dc stitch (Picot), 1 Dc, 1 Hdc, Ch 2, Sl st into the ring. Pull tight.

Legs (Make 4)
Ch 8. Starting from 2nd ch from hook: 3 Sl st.
Ch 4, from 2nd ch from hook: 3 Sl st.
Ch 4, from 2nd ch from hook: 3 Sl st.
Return to the initial chain and Sc in each of the remaining 4 stitche

Teeth (Make 2)
Ch 3. In the 2nd ch from hook: 1 Sc, 1 Sl st.

Tail
Wrap yarn around your fingers several times. Cut one end and tie the other end securely with a string to make a tassel/pompom tail.

Assemble
Glue or sew the eyes, ears, horn, teeth, and tail onto the main body according to the original image.
