To crochet this amigurumi Dachshund you need:
- Fine yarn YarnArt Jeans (160 m / 50 g; 55% cotton, 45% acrylic): in dark brown (70), golden brown (84), pink (36), green (29), yellow (35), black (53) colors
- 2.0 mm crochet hook by Tulip
- 8 mm safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Sewing needle and scissors
Your finished amigurumi puppy will be about 15 cm (5.9") tall if you use the suggested yarn and hook. Feel free to try other yarn weights too — just keep in mind the size of your pup may turn out a little bigger or smaller.

Nose:
Crochet 4 ch with black yarn. Continue working in turning rows, beginning in 2nd ch from the hook.

Row 3: 1 ch, crochet 3 st together like decrease [1]
Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.
Legs (make 2):
Crochet with beige yarn.

Tail:
Crochet 9 ch with beige yarn. Continue working, beginning in 2nd ch from the hook.
Row 1: sl st in next 2 ch, sc inc, (hdc inc) × 2 times, (dc inc) × 3 times [14]
Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.
Assembly:
1. Sew the ears to the head between Rnd 15 and Rnd 22, leaving 11 stitches between them.
2. Sew the tongue to the muzzle between Rnd 4 and Rnd 5.
3. Sew the tail to the back at Rnd 12.
4. Put the collar on and sew the edges together.
5. Sew the medallion to the collar.
